FlexiScrew Technology — Licensed from IIT Delhi

The Anatomica Bioabsorbable Screw range is based on FlexiScrew technology jointly developed by the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. These are multi-material screws designed to provide fixation strength comparable to cortical bone, then gradually absorb as the fracture heals. Two screw configurations are available, each designed for specific anatomical challenges where straight metallic screws underperform.

Technology origin

FlexiScrew technology was jointly developed by IIT Delhi and AIIMS New Delhi at the mPragati national research facility. Anatomica Implants is commercialising this technology under a transfer agreement facilitated by FITT.
